BGA gives Haddon Training apprentices FREE membership

The British Grooms Association (BGA) is delighted to be joining forces with leading equestrian training provider Haddon Training to give a Christmas gift to all of their equine apprentices - FREE membership to the BGA.

As long term sponsors of the BGA, Haddon Training not only provide first class training, they are also leaders when it comes to recognising the importance of caring for their apprentices by offering them support and advice about working and building careers in the equestrian industry. Educating and supporting young people coming into the industry is one of the key attributes to aiding staff retention within the industry, and so helping grooms to start their careers with the knowledge they need provided by the BGA is an exciting step forwards.

Lucy Katan, Chief Executive of the BGA says, “At the BGA we strive to educate employers, grooms and their parents about correct employment practices in the equine environment. We are delighted to team up with Haddon to offer their apprentices support, dedicated advice and so a positive first step into our industry.”

Chris Hewlett, Managing Director of Haddon Training says, "This is a very important and exciting development in our long standing relationship with the BGA. We work hard to offer every support we can to our learners - membership of the BGA provides the vital link to welfare and legal support for them, together with wider benefits that will help them throughout their careers."
Haddon Training currently has over 300 apprentices in training, all of whom will receive their membership to the BGA in time for Christmas.
