Frankel does it again

Frankel does it again

Frankel, possibly the world's greatest racehorse  has, managed to win his 13th consecutive race, by an impressive seven lengths in the Juddmonte International Stakes at York on the 22nd August.

Frankel is trained by Sir Henry Cecil and was 1-10 favourite and is owned by Prince Khalid Abdullah.

It was the four-year-old’s first time over 10 furlongs and he cruised through the race, finishing ahead of Godolphin's Farhh. The Aidan O'Brien-trained St Nicholas Abbey was a nose behind in third.

“It's like a dream," said the Prince’s racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe, after the race.

It was also Frankel’s eighth Group One win in a row, breaking Rock Of Gibraltar’s record. It took his winnings to more than £2million.
