Natasha Captures BE80(T) British Riding Club Championship

NATASHA Miller was one of the worthy winner  at the BE80(T) Championships at Brooksby Melton College Horse Trials with brilliant all round performance.

With more than 90 entries for the finals, held as part of the BE80(T) British Riding Club Eventing Championships, it was decided to run three sections at this popular event.

Having left home at 4.30am the win in Section C made all the effort worthwhile for Natasha who rode her nine-year-old, 14.2hh grey Connemara gelding, Villa Bally to victory on a score of 29.3 penalties, her nearest rival being Heidi Llewellyn and Duke V.

Based in Holmfirth near Huddersfield, Natasha, 29, has owned Billy as he is known at home for seven years since he was a two-year-old.

Said Natasha: “It is brilliant to win one of the BE80(T) championship sections we only started eventing this season.

“I am delighted with our performance today; he did a fantastic dressage test and we only incurred 0.8 time penalties on the cross-country. He is a great all-rounder and I am now planning to move him up to compete in BE90 classes next year.”

Natasha, a busy Podiatrist (foot specialist), is a keen member at her local Riding Clubs, and competes in many different activities.

“We left home at 4.30am this morning but we are going home with a big smile on our faces and we will be celebrating later with a well-earned cider,” she added.

Natasha also won a lesson with top event rider Piggy French as part of her win.
