Ricki Riley wins at BETA Gala Dinner

Blackburn & District Branch of the Pony Club are ecstatic! Our member Ricki Riley has won the BETA Sponsored Amateur Rider Award Category at the prestigious BETA Gala Dinner, which was held at the National Motorcycle Museum, on Sunday 24th January 2016.

This award recognises sponsored riders who have made the greatest contribution to the trade. It is presented to those who have participated fully in building a relationship with their sponsors, generating good results for them as well as themselves.

A Pony Club member since the age of four, 17 year old Ricki has competed successfully with her pony Mister Copperfield at county working hunter level and has represented Blackburn and District Branch of the Pony Club as a leading light in their show jumping and dressage teams.

Ricki says “Thanks to everyone for their support, it still doesn’t feel real!”

Nominator Horzehoods began a small sponsorship of the winner two years ago, when it was a young company. Not only has Ricki been a great ambassador but, says Horzehoods, she has also become part of the product development team purely for the love of developing great products and to live up to her role as a sponsored team rider.
